Brush and Breathe
Join me at the Cultural Arts Alliance Bayou Arts Center on Wednesdays from 12:30-3:30 for a weekly class based on an exploration into the nature and process of painting with watercolors. Includes traditional and explorative techniques using primarily transparent paints to achieve both loose and realistic compositions. Different themes are offered each month, you may use the provided image or bring similar images. Each month’s topic and skills are patterned by the Tuesday class offerings. For a nominal fee a small courtesy supply kit available as well by requesting in advance.

December 2025 Watercolor Classes Painting reflective surfaces

- This is a 1-class project for each painting, depending on skills! There are up to 3 compositions this month to paint. The class is suitable for adults with minimal to some experience with painting. Those painting with me this year that have any unfinished pieces, please feel free to bring them in to get those last touches on your masterpieces! The ornaments will give you skills in painting wet into wet, wet into dry, and use of stencils and masks. Classes taught by Theresia McInnis.

- Note that their automated ticket sales does not alert me, the instructor, of class participants.
- You may also order a limited supply kit prior to class below which will include paints, paper and "loner" brushes. See the kit offered here on my site. Please order at least 24 hours prior to class to allow preparation time.
