Flowing Florals and Building a Portfolio of Backgrounds

Have you ever struggled trying to develop a background to your composition only to find that it just didn’t fit, or perhaps it took the stage and overwhelmed your piece? This month we will build a portfolio of background references to have in your bag of tricks while completing a simplified floral.

• This is a 1-2-class project for each floral, depending on skills! The class is suitable for adults with minimal to some experience with painting.

• Register by filling out the class registration form and choosing the classes in which you are interested.
•  Supplies: Upon registration, you will receive a supply list, full color reference materials, and patterns. Art Supplies are in stock at Artful Things for your purchase or you may opt to purchase a minimal supply kit sold separately.
• At check out students will receive a Dropbox folder link . This link will also be in your welcome email. (You do not have to have Dropbox to open or save this file to your devices). Please contact me by email if you have trouble opening your files.
