October Group Watercolor on Wednesdays at Bayou Arts Center
“Explorations in The Nature of Watercolor the medium that doesn’t like to be bossed.”
Join me at the Cultural Arts Alliance Bayou Arts Center on Wednesdays from 12:30-3:30 for a weekly class based on an exploration into the nature and process of painting with watercolors. Includes traditional and explorative techniques using primarily transparent paints to achieve both loose and realistic compositions. . Different themes are offered each month, you may use the provided image or bring similar image. Each month’s topic and skills are patterned by the Tuesday class offerings. A supply list and reverence materials will be provided after registration. For a nominal fee a small courtesy supply kit available as well by requesting in advance.

Group Watercolor Classes Wednesday’s
Cultural Arts Alliance at the Bayou Arts Center: October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Is October Harvest Hot Enough? Join us in the enchanting world of watercolors in our classes as we heat things up with techniques to bring these vibrant harvest colors to life. You will be able to walk away with inspiration to apply techniques to various other compositions. This month we will stress the skills in Lost and found edges and controlling hue.
This is a 2-class project for each painting! There are up to 5 compositions this month to paint; with one designed for that absolute beginner. The class is suitable for adults with minimal to some experience with painting.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just beginning your artistic journey these three weekly sessions provide a welcoming space for artistic exploration, fostering a supportive community of fellow enthusiasts.
